Apple has done what it can to demean the word “genius”. A blue t-shirt does not a “brainiac” make. My latest purchase Mac purchase was made on the campus of Ohio State University. Best to know what you want and avoid Apple stores at all costs.
Probably the “better” ones are at Sanlitun, where they know they can’t fool expats in the Chinese capital (at least not that easily). Xidan I’d say — probably avoid it like the plague; not a lot of people know what they’re blabbering about anyways…
