David Feng is the head of the BeiMac Group (Beijing Mac user group), Publisher of techblog86, a tech, mobile and enterprise blog, and the founder of Beijingology, a blog and a wiki about the city of Beijing.

David Feng is also the author of The Beijingologist blog on City Weekend, a co-blogger at CNReviews, a contributor with the Shanghaiist, a columnist at Macsimum News and a program co-host on Radio Beijing (AM 774).*

David has expansive knowledge of up to 10 languages following comprehensive education in Switzerland. He was educated at the Inter-Community School and the Riverside School. Following 11 IGCSE credits and 4 AP credits, he returned to his place of birth, Beijing, in 2000, graduated from the University of International Business and Economics with a Bachelor of Economics and a scholarship recognizing active participation in extracurricular activities in 2004, and graduated from the Communications (Media) University of China with a Master of Arts in Linguistics and Applied Linguistics from the School of Media Presenting in 2007. In August 2007, he became a certified TEFL teacher.

In 2002, David Feng started with several Mac friends around the World BeiMac, short for the Beijing Macintosh User Group. The group is Beijing's largest active Macintosh user community, with a membership of over 600 members, with some of Beijing's best Macintosh resources.

Due to his active involvement in the Macintosh community, David was profiled on a variety of international tech-related and general media, including Wired, eBay Trend Charts (China), MacAddict, and others.

Beginning in September 2002, David has become a frequent speaker and host, first in universities, and then moving out of the campus with internships at Radio Beijing and Asia TV.
